About Cathy

A Bridge Between Science, Soul & Healing

I became a counselor after years of helping others heal as a nurse. Over time, I saw that physical recovery was often incomplete until people felt safe, heard, and reconnected to their emotional and spiritual selves. This realization led me to merge my two callings—nursing and counseling—into a single, integrative approach to healing.

Today, as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Registered Nurse, Board-Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and ordained interfaith minister, I offer a whole-person perspective on wellness. My work blends the science of neurobiology and psychoneuroimmunology with the art of mind-body counseling, somatic awareness, and hypnosis. I help clients explore how stress, early nurturing patterns, and emotional experiences influence immunity, mood, and physical well-being.

I draw from years of study in functional nutrition, metabolic mental health, and Ayurveda, as well as advanced training in clinical hypnosis, trauma recovery, and somatic therapy. My sessions combine these influences in a way that honors both evidence-based science and the sacred dimensions of healing.

Clients describe my style as compassionate, grounded, and intuitive. Whether you are navigating chronic illness, emotional exhaustion, or a desire for deeper self-understanding, you’ll find a calm, nonjudgmental space to reconnect with your body’s wisdom and your own innate capacity for renewal.

Healing, to me, is both a biological process and a spiritual awakening—an invitation to return home to yourself.
